The picture and videos below were facing southwest from about 153rd and Farrell road. The tornado in the picture is approximately 3 miles from this location. Unfortunately I did not notice the tornado at the time it was occurring otherwise I would have tried to get better footage. The looped video shows a enhanced time lapse clip as the storm approached. The arrow shows the part of the storm where the tornado formed. This clip really shows how much rotation the storm system had as it passed through. The time in the video is synchronized to atomic time accurate to within one second. The next clip zooms in on part of the storm where the tornado forms, it is digitally zoomed not optically so the image gets a little grainy but the rotation around the funnel is definitely visible especially as the tornado passes out of frame to the left.
